Children’s speech therapy in Hawke's Bay

Effective communication is an essential part of the human experience. However, for some children this does not always come naturally. Communication involves not only speaking, but listening, understanding and being able to move the right muscles. Certain disorders, or difficulties with expressing sounds both correctly and clearly, expressing ideas and finding the right words, can impinge on the ability of children to effectively communicate at home or school. As a children’s speech language therapist, Nicky Ridley provides significant expertise and qualified therapy treatments to improve or correct speech problems in children of all ages. If your child is experiencing communication difficulties, speak with Nicky today and she’ll work with you and your child to create a personalised treatment plan.
